ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports the Eagles are expected to sign former Jets QB Mark Sanchez. The deal is not done as Sanchez would have to pass a physical as he missed all of last season with a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport is reporting the Giants are also interested in signing Sanchez.
Sanchez, 27, has not thrown a pass since 2012 when he completed 54.3% of his passes for 2,883 yards, 13 touchdowns and 18 interceptions in 15 games. Arguably Sanchez's best season came in 2010 when he led the Jets to a 11-5 record completing 54.8% of his passes for 3,291 yards with 17 touchdowns and 13 interceptions while leading a career-high six game-winning drives.
This would either make people happy or really irritate them.
