CSN Philly's Jim Salisbury reports that former Phillies shortstop and manager Larry Bowa could possibly rejoin the organization as a coach under interim manager Ryne Sandberg, if Sandberg loses the "interim" label as is expected.
Bowa, 67, managed the Phillies from 2001 to 2004 while taking home the National League Manager of the Year Award in 2001. He last served as the third base coach of the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2010. Bowa also played 12 years and 1,739 games for the Phillies while earning trips to five All-Star games and winning two Gold Gloves.
