ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Eagles quarterback Nick Foles does not need surgery to repair his broken collarbone. Foles is expected to miss 6-to-8 weeks of action.
Foles, 25, had gone 10-for-13 (76.9%) with 124 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception prior to his injury on Sunday. The Pro Bowl quarterback was completing 59.9% of his passes this season for 2,193 yards, 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered the same injury last season and missed seven games. While Foles is sidelined, Mark Sanchez will step in as Eagles starter.
