CSN Philly's Derrick Gunn reports Eagles quarterback Nick Foles suffered a broken collarbone in the first half of Sunday's victory over the Houston Texans. An MRI scheduled for Monday will determine how long Foles will be sidelined.
Foles, 25, had gone 10-for-13 (76.9%) with 124 passing yards, one touchdown and one interception prior to his injury on Sunday. The Pro Bowl quarterback was completing 59.9% of his passes this season for 2,193 yards, 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered the same injury last season and missed seven games. While Foles is sidelined, Mark Sanchez will step in as Eagles starter.
