Fox Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports that the Phillies are one of six teams interested in relief pitcher Mitchell Boggs.
Boggs, who turns 30 in February, split time between the Cardinals and Rockies in 2013 going 0-3 with a 8.10 ERA and a 2.06 WHIP and one hold. His best season came in 2012 when he was 0-3 with a 2.21 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP with two saves and 34 holds.
In five career appearances at Citizens Bank Park, Boggs has allowed six runs on eight hits with three walks and two home runs in 5.2 innings of work.
He will be over 30 by Opening Day so he fits the criteria to play for the Phillies, apparently.
