The Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo reports that the Phillies, along with the Giants and Twins, have called Bronson Arroyo's agent expressing interest.
Arroyo, who turns 37 in February, was 14-12 with a 3.79 ERA and a 1.15 ERA in 32 starts for the Cincinnati Reds last season. He has thrown 199 or more innings every year dating back to 2005 and hasn't started fewer than 32 games in that time frame so durability is definitely a strength of Arroyo's.
