Edwards, a 6 foot 5, 268 lbs. defensive end, has had some very productive seasons in his first five years in the league with the Minnesota Vikings. Edwards had 8 ½ sacks in 2009 and 8 sacks in 2010 while playing opposite of Pro Bowler Jared Allen for the Vikings. If Edwards does sign, it would be the first major acquisition in the Jim Washburn era in Philadelphia. The 26 year old would join Trent Cole as one of the top two defensive ends on the Eagles roster. This looks to be move No. 1 on a long list of moves for the Eagles following the lockout which includes the potential trade of QB Kevin Kolb.
