ESPN's Marc Stein reports the Cleveland Cavaliers have traded shooting guard Keith Bogans and a second-round pick to the Sixers. The Cavaliers will then create a $5.3 million trade exception by dealing Bogans to Philadelphia.
The 34-year-old Bogans has averaged 6.3 points per game in his 11-year career. He played in only six games for a total of 55 minutes last season for the Boston Celtics and was acquired by the Cavaliers earlier this week. Bogans is slated to make $5,285,817 in 2014-15 and $5,513,436 in 2015-16 but his contract is not guaranteed.
Sixers general manager loves stockpiling second-round picks and he is already off to a fast start this season.
