It would make sense that the team would be looking at any and all ways to improve the team. ESPN’s Marc Stein reported that the Sixers are gauging interest and value for Evan Turner . This makes sense as the trade deadline is just 10 days away and most teams want to know how much their players are worth. The Philadelphia Inquirer’s John Mitchell writes that the 76ers will probably not trade Turner unless the right deal is proposed. Mitchell harps on the point that the Sixers are very committed to seeing what their team looks like with Bynum in the fold and in game action.
The 24 year old, former No. 2 overall draft pick is playing well in his third year in the league. He has started all 49 of the 76ers games this year. He is setting career highs in almost every statistical category. He is averaging 13.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, while shooting 39% from beyond the arc.
