Whether the Sixers are serious about Stoudemire remains to be seen but the fact remains that the Stoudemire-Carmelo Anthony experiment isn’t going as planned as the Knicks are 1-9 in their last 10 and 7-13 overall this season. Stoudemire is averaging 17.6 points this year but isn’t the go-to-scorer this year like he was last year when he averaged 25.3 points per game. Anthony has taken much of Stoudemire’s touches and it is clear there isn’t enough touches to go around in NY. This situation is something to keep an eye on.
