Brett Brown's coaching staff continues to grow. Lloyd Pierce, Chad Iske, Greg Foster, and now.... John Kuestner?
Y! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Kuester could be making a return to the City of Brotherly Love to become Brown's top assistant in Philadelphia.
Kuestner, 58, was an assistant in Philadelphia under Larry Brown from 1997-03 and returned to the Sixers in 2005-06. He bounced around as an assistant before becoming the head coach of the Detroit Pistons in 2009. He coached the Pistons from 2009-2011 missing the playoffs both seasons. He spent last season as an advanced NBA Scout for the Lakers based on the East Coast.
He struggled as a head coach but had a ton of success under Larry Brown and later under Mike Brown in Cleveland. With such a young roster, Kuester's influence could be extremely beneficial because, after all, he did coach LeBron James.
