The Sixers re-branded themselves prior to the 2009-10 season when they went back to a plain, classic look of the team employing red, white and blue jerseys. After a little success in these uniforms it appears as though the Philadelphia 76ers once again seem set on re-branding.
Interstate 76ers' Shamus Clancy reports the Sixers will be changing their uniforms prior to the 2015-16 season according a source with knowledge of the situation. No further information was made readily available and the team would not comment.
I am in the minority but I like the retro-simplicity of the current uniforms. With that being said, I think they need to spice things up or at least change something. This look will not be remembered favorably by fans as chances are good they're going to remember the Andrew Bynum situation more so that the 2012 run in the playoffs.
