The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane reports Eagles starting right guard Todd Herremans will have season-ending surgery to fix his torn left biceps. He will be placed on injured reserve on Wednesday and left guard Evan Mathis will be activated in his place.
Matt Tobin, who had been playing left guard in place of Mathis, will switch to right guard according to McLane. Andrew Gardner had stepped in on Sunday for Herremans.
Herremans, 32, suffered the injury in the second half of the Eagles loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Despite the injury, he missed only three snaps against Arizona. He started Sunday against J.J. Watt and the Houston Texans before coming out later in the game. He played 55 of the team's 86 offensive snaps.
