The NFL Network's Albert Breer reported today that he believes Eagles vice president of player personnel Tom Gamble will be staying in Philadelphia. Breer cites Chip Kelly's program as a reason for not wanting to leave Philadelphia after one season. He was reportedly a candidate for the Dolphins and Buccaneers vacant general manager positions.
Gamble came to the Eagles last offseason after spending eight years with the San Francisco 49ers. He has worked around the NFL but started his career working for his father, Harry, in the Eagles front office.
Gamble has never been a general manager in the NFL but seems to have the pedigree to make it happen.
