Former Phillies Cy Young award winner Roy Halladay tweeted Tuesday a picture of himself with his wife during his introductory press conference in Philadelphia. He added his time in Philadelphia "was an amazing experience" then went on to call Phillies fans the "best fans on earth."
Halladay posted a 55-29 record with a 3.25 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP in four seasons in Philadelphia before retiring in December. His struggles over the last two seasons were clear in the numbers going 15-13 with a 5.15 ERA but was 40-16 with a 2.40 ERA in his first two seasons in Philadelphia. The injuries derailed him.
Halladay is a legend.
