Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun enters 2014 having missed most of the second half of the 2013 season serving a suspension for his involvement with performance-enhancing drugs. Braun sat down with USA Today's Bob Nightengale to discuss the upcoming season and the challenges he faces.
The 30-year-old outfielder touched on a number of different subjects and fan reaction was a major topic. When discussing fan reaction, particularly in opposing ballparks, Braun mentioned how it might be easier to handle the heckling in Philadelphia and Chicago this year compared to years past.
It's probably better now. Normally, you go to Philly and Chicago, and they're talking about your mom, your sister, your girlfriend, whatever. So, now, it will be just about me.
