7:29 pm - Ok, I'm back and David Stern eloquently stumbles his way to beginning the NBA Draft.
7:36 pm - Stern comes out and to announce the first-pick, UNLV forward Anthony Bennett. Bill Simmons is surprised for the first time tonight.
7:58 pm - I'm surprised Nerlens Noel is still on the board but, I gotta admit, I'm more focused on David Stern showing some personality tonight.
8:17 pm - I start to like the idea of the 76ers drafting Syracuse PG Michael Carter-Williams.
8:21 pm - The Sixers trade Jrue Holiday. Uhhh..... WHAT?! I lose it. (Original reports were it was Holiday and the 76ers 1st round pick next year headed to New Orleans)
8:45 pm - Feel remorseful and apologize for overreacting again because I know I was being judged.
8:57 pm - Bill Simmons makes the first of many awkward comments and just gets stares from Rece Davis, Jay Bilas, and Jalen Rose. I'm uncomfortable.
9:04 pm - He did it again. I'm uncomfortable.
9:06 pm - Simmons gets really surprised by a lot of these picks. Isn't he supposed to be, I don't know, remotely knowledgeable about the prospects to be on NBA Draft show?
9:11 pm - Another awkward comment. Sheesh, this guy...
9:16 pm - I have grown restless over the lack of moves from the 76ers over the last 45 minutes and I'm tired of Evan Turner's crap.
10:35 pm - DOMONATE!
11:11 pm - Back to the draft and they are interviewing Spike Lee who is either drunk, confused, or both.
11:12 pm - Still trying figure out what value Spike Lee adds to any sports broadcast.... and I'm coming up empty.
11:13 pm - The Sixers orchestrate one of the weirdest trades ever. They trade the 35th overall pick to the Wizards for the 38th and 54th overall pick. The Sixers then trade the 38th overall pick to the Bucks for the 43rd overall pick then trade the 43rd overall pick to the Hawks who trade it to the Mavericks. I think.
11:14 pm - What the hell just happened?
11:15 pm - This is such a Sixers move.
11:40 pm - Geez, it's almost midnight and I haven't moved in hours.
12:00 am - The 76ers select forward Arsalan Kazemi from Oregon. He played his first three years at Rice and is the first Iranian ever selected in the NBA draft. I've clearly checked out.
