As we previewed for you last night, Monday Night Football was a good one last night in Detroit. The Lions roughed up the Bears and won 21-13. The Lions improve to 5-0 for the first time since 1956. More here.
The Rangers and Tigers played some extra baseball last night. The Tigers got out of a bases loaded, no out jam in the bottom of the ninth as Jose Valverde got a fly out and then an inning-ending double play. The game was tied at 3-3 all the way up to the 11th inning when the Rangers had the bases loaded and no outs when Nelson Cruz went deep for a walk-off grand slam to give the Rangers the 7-3 victory to go up 2-0 in the series. The Cardinals, trying to avoid falling into a 0-2 hole in the NLCS exploded last night in Milwaukee for 12 runs. The Cardinals got 12 runs on 17 hits with Albert Pujols going 4-for-5 with three runs scored. The Cardinals won 12-3 and head back to St. Louis with the series tied at one game apiece. More here.
