The Brewers, behind former Phillie Randy Wolf, were able to tie up the NLCS at two games a piece. The Cardinals managed to only get two runs, both coming off of solo shots by Matt Holliday and Allen Craig. More here

The Big East conference, soon to lose both Pitt and Syracuse, and now losing TCU before it could ever officially play a game as a Big East school, is scrambling to add to its slowly dying conference. The talks have been surrounding Boise St. as a possible option. Right now, the Big East said they would like to expand to 12 schools, and in two years, they will have only 6. More here.
