The Braves lost their 10,000 game yesterday to the Marlins despite getting 13 hits. Now the Phillies aren’t the only team who has lost 10,000 games so people can let it rest. More here.
Plaxico Burress is headed back to New York, but not with the Giants. Burress signed a 1 year contract worth 3,017,000 with the New York Jets. The Jets also signed cornerback Antonio Cromartie to a four year $32 million contract after losing out to Philadelphia on the Nnamdi Asomugha sweepstakes. More here.
Eagles WR Desean Jackson is expected to end his holdout this week. Jackson is unhappy about his $565,000 contract and wants a new contract. Rightly so because Jackson has made two Pro Bowls in his first three seasons with the Eagles and has clearly become one of the elite receivers in the NFL.
