The Eagles are still in the hunt for a division title. Yes, you read that correctly. The Eagles pieced together a sloppy 26-10 win in Miami yesterday over the Dolphins. Michael Vick threw for 208 yards. Lesean McCoy rushed 27 times for only 38 yards. Coupled with a Cowboys loss to the Giants, the Eagles are still alive. Up next for the Eagles are the New York Jets next week. More here.
As we said, the Giants came back late against the Dallas Cowboys. Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul blocked the potential game tying FG from Dan Bailey (who made the first attempt but Tom Coughlin- not Jason Garrett froze him just before the snap). Giants won 37-34. People are saying Eli is better than his brother Peyton because of what he did. Peyton, for the record, is still better. More here.
The Tim Tebow magic continues. Tebow leads Broncos from down 10-0 with 2:08 remaining in the fourth quarter to a 13-10 victory with Broncos kicker Matt Prater hitting a 59 yarder to tie the game and send it to OT. More here.
Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are good. Real good. 13-0 good. They poured it on the Raiders yesterday, 46-16. They are the real deal. More here.
The Houston Texans, missing Mario Williams, Andre Johnson, and Matt Schaub, clinched their first ever playoff berth yesterday by clinching the AFC South division title in a 20-19 win over the Bengals in Cincinnati behind 300 yards from Texans rookie QB T.J. Yates. More here.
