The Phillies were looking to take the second game of their three-game series with the Brewers last night. After Milwaukee threw up a two spot in the top of the first, the Phillies responded with three of their own. It was tied 4-4 in the eighth when the Brewers got three runs including two runs off a Ryan Braun triple. Mark Reynolds hit a two-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to make it 9-4 Brewers and they would go on to win. More here.
The 76ers were in Toronto last night taking on the Raptors. The Sixers shot a strong 51.8% from the field but just 8-for-21 (38.1%) from beyond the arc. Michael Carter-Williams had a strong game scoring 19 points, grabbing nine rebounds and dished out eight assists. Jonas Valanciunas put up a double-double for the Raptors scoring 26 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Toronto went on to win 125-114. More here.
The Sixers announced on Wednesday they expected to have center Byron Mullens available for last night's game against the Toronto Raptors. The seven-footer had missed the last five games dealing with a sprained ankle but did not play. More here.
