The Phillies were wrapping up their quick two-game series with the Angels last night in Anaheim. Howie Kendrick gave the Angels the lead in the sixth inning with his bloop single to rightfield that scored Albert Pujols and Josh Hamilton. Brennan Boesch drove in two runs despite going 0-for-2 on the night as the Angels rolled to a 4-3 victory. More here.
The Boston Globe's Nick Cafardo reports the Phillies are still demanding "four or five prospects" to part with Hamels but one team the Phillies have interest in possibly striking a deal is the Boston Red Sox. the report states the Phillies are heavily scouting the Red Sox and their farm system.
