The Phillies were looking for a series victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday after their marathon seven-hour, 18 inning loss on Saturday. Japan was making their fourth straight appearance in the Little League World Series yesterday as they took on the team from Chula Vista, Ca. California had a 4-3 lead in the fourth inning when a solo home run tied the game for Japan followed later by a two-run double to give them a 6-4 lead. They would go on to win their second-straight title by a final of 6-4. More here.
Former Eagles quarterback and current Buffalo Bills QB Kevin Kolb suffered another concussion on Saturday night in the team's preseason loss to the Washington Redskins. The concussion, the third of Kolb's career, is reportedly serious and could be career-ending. More here.
