The Sixers were up in Brooklyn taking on the Nets last night. The Sixers were down big from the beginning and it only got worse. Joe Johnson outscored the Sixers in the third quarter by himself 26-25 while tying Michael Redd's NBA record with eight three pointers in the quarter. The 76ers trailed by as many as 40 in the fourth quarter before losing their seventh straight game by a 130-94 final. It was the second consecutive game in which the 76ers allowed 130 or more points. Phillies have made it clear to other teams that they are very willing to move shortstop Jimmy Rollins. There is caveat is Rollins has a full no-trade clause and has made it clear that he wants to become the Phillies leader in the record books. Back in July Rollins was quoted as saying, "There are still a couple things I would like to be number one on the lists of in this organization so until those things are done, I'm not going anywhere." The Cowboys loss on Sunday was heartbreaking for their fans but a reason for celebration for everyone else around the league. One Cowboys fan did not handle to loss well as he blamed quarterback Tony Romo for the missed opportunity. He responded by burning his Romo jersey! More here.
