The Brooklyn Nets' struggles continued on Christmas as they took on the Chicago Bulls in an afternoon showdown. After being down just three at halftime, the Nets imploded in the third quarter. Chicago rattled off a 21-5 run to outscore Brooklyn 36-20 en route to a 95-78 victory. Taj Gibson led the Bulls with 20 points and eight rebounds. More here.
Cowboys QB Tony Romo's status for Sunday isn't official yet but the writing looks like it is starting to appear on the wall. Romo is fighting through pain right now and he is "not overly comfortable" dealing with a back injury. He did not practice with the team yesterday and did not go through pre-practice meetings. One Cowboys player had his fate for Sunday's game sealed yesterday. Linebacker Sean Lee has been ruled out against the Eagles due to a sprained neck. Lee suffered the injury on December 9th against the Chicago Bears and it is more seriously than the team had originally thought. More here.
