The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears will face off on Sunday afternoon with a winner-take-all game for the NFC North title. The Packers managed to stay in the race without star quarterback Aaron Rodgers but all that changes on Sunday as Rodgers has been cleared to play against the Bears.
The Portland Trail Blazers were looking to improve to an NBA best 24-5 last night as they hosted the Clippers. Trail Blazers forward LaMarcus Aldridge is beginning to assert himself as one of the top forwards in the NBA and last night was a perfect example as he scored 32 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the 115-111 win over Los Angeles.
Blake Griffin was ejected from the Clippers-Warriors game on Christmas Day after receiving his second technical of the game in the third quarter. Clippers coach Doc Rivers argued the questionable call at the time and the league went back yesterday and reviewed it. Rod Thorn announced that Griffin should not have been given a technical and subsequently not ejected.
