The Eagles were looking for their fourth consecutive win yesterday as they welcomed the Arizona Cardinals. Nick Foles had another strong game going 21-for-34 (61.7%) for 237 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. Rookie tight end Zach Ertz had a team-high and career-high 68 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The Eagles jumped out to a 24-7 lead but held on to narrowly win 24-21 to move to 7-5 on the year. The Sixers were looking to snap their three-game losing streak last night at the Palace at Auburn Hills taking on the Pistons. Detroit center Andre Drummond was the first player to score 31 points, grab 19 rebounds, and record six steals in a game since Hakeem Olajuwon in 1990. The Pistons jumped out to a 40-25 lead after the first quarter and held a 24 point lead at halftime. The 76ers used a strong third quarter to climb to within 10 but it wasn't enough as Detroit went on to win 115-110. More here.
The BCS standings got a bit of a shake-up last night as the nation's top team, Alabama, lost a heart-breaker to Auburn on Saturday. Previous No. 2 Florida State has taken over the top spot in the BC standings with Ohio State moving up one spot from No. 3 to No. 2. Auburn's win brings them in third, Alabama dropped to fourth with Missouri rounding out the top five. Full standings here.

The Redskins and Giants battled on Sunday Night Football last night. Giants defensive end Justin Tuck recorded four sacks on Robert Griffin III and runningback Andre Brown rushed for 35 yards and two touchdowns and the Giants won 24-17 to eliminate the Redskins from the playoffs and keep their playoff hopes alive. The Cowboys hosted the Oakland Raiders on Thanksgiving. DeMarco Murray rushed for 63 yards and a big three touchdowns. Dallas would go on to win 31-24 to move to 7-5 and remain in first place in the NFC East thanks to their tie-breaker with the Eagles. More here.
