The Flyers faced off against the Vancouver Canucks last night in Vancouver. After dominating much of the first two periods, the Canucks took a 3-2 lead with 2:48 remaining in the third period. The Flyers responded with 46.8 seconds remaining in the game with Brayden Schenn's game-tying goal. It would go to a shootout where Steve Mason stopped all three Canucks shooters and the Flyers rolled to a 4-3 victory. More here.
Winger Michael Raffl told the Flyers that he was informed last week that he will be headed to Sochi as a member of Team Austria. Raffl helped Team Austria qualify last year before signing a free agent deal with the Flyers. More here.
