The Sixers kicked off their post-All Star break schedule last night against the Cleveland Cavaliers looking to snap their eight-game losing streak. Unfortunately, the Cavaliers came in having won four-straight and were rolling. Cleveland outscored Philadelphia in every quarter led by Tyler Zeller's double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds en route to the Cavaliers 114-85 victory. More here.
Houston Rockets have reopened trade talks surrounding backup center Omer Asik and the Sixers are the team mentioned as a "landing spot" for him. Asik, 27, is averaging 3.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while averaging just 17.1 minutes per game down from his 30 minutes per game last year. More here.
