The Sixers welcomed the team with the worst record in the NBA to the Wells Fargo Center last night when the Milwaukee Bucks came to visit. The Sixers were only trailing by two after the first quarter before the Bucks proceeded to outscore the 76ers 43-16 in the second to take a 29-point lead into halftime. It would be a 30-point lead by the time the fourth quarter rolled around and Milwaukee would cruise to a 130-110 victory. More here.
Lone Sixers veteran Thaddeus Young felt "a little bit" left out when the trade deadline came around on Thursday and he wasn't moved. Young said, "Certain things don't always happen in your favor or it doesn't happen the way everybody else thinks it should play out. It's been a very tough year so far, but you try to make the best of the situation." More here.
New Sixers forward Danny Granger has met with general manager Sam Hinkie and completed his physical. He has not practiced with the team and reportedly wants a buyout. The next step following the physical is a sit down with the team's head coach Brett Brown and, following the meeting with Brown, the next steps of Granger's career, whatever they may be, will begin.
