- Islanders 7 - Flyers 4
- Wizards 111 - Sixers 76
- Flyers v. Penguins - 7:30 pm - Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, Pa - NBC Sports Network
- The Flyers took on the Islanders in a matinee matchup yesterday. New York struck just 1:32 into the first period then got another before the midway mark of the opening frame. They would get a shorthanded goal in the second and it was off to the races. They'd score three in the period and two in the third to beat the Flyers 7-4. More here.
- The Sixers took on the Wizards yesterday afternoon in D.C. It wasn't close as the Wizards jumped all over the Sixers from the get-go. Marcin Gortat scored 20 points while Kevin Seraphin added 14 off the bench. Henry Sims led all Sixers with 13 points as the Wizards cruised to a 111-76 rout of the Sixers. More here.
- Sean Couturier struggled yesterday against the Islanders but he was also tasked with shutting down their top line. Couturier hasn't recorded a pint in six games but he isn't getting a fair shot offensively. More here.
