The Flyers were in action last night at the Wells Fargo Center with their nine-game home winning streak on the line. Philadelphia jumped out to a 3-0 lead midway through the second period before Montreal finally got on the board. It is all they would need as the Flyers cruised to a 3-1 victory. The Phillies announced yesterday long-time broadcaster Chris Wheeler and color analyst Gary Matthews will no longer be members of the Phillies broadcast team moving forward but will remaining with the organization in some capacity. This all comes in the wake of the Phillies signing a massive new television contract. More here.
