The Phillies were looking for another big game against the Brewers last night and got it from starter Roberto Hernandez. Hernandez threw a season high eight innings allowing just one run on three hits. Chase Utley delivered again last night for the Phillies with his eighth home run of the year to give the Phillies a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Jimmy Rollins came through in the clutch for Philadelphia with his two-out, two-run home run in the sixth inning to break a 1-1 tie as the Phillies rolled to a 4-1 victory. More here.

He told reporters, "Some guys want to stay on a losing team? That's mind-boggling to me. I think that's a no-brainer (to want to leave)." One reporter asked Papelbon, 'So you'd like to be pitching for a contender later this month?' to which the closer responded. “Of course, man. What kind of question is that?” More here.
