The Flyers welcomed the New Jersey Devils to town last night. New Jersey got on the board in the first period after a Flyers defensive breakdown left travis Zajac all alone in front of Steve mason and he beat the Flyers goaltender to make it 1-0. Nicklas Grossmann scored for the first time in 75 games to make it 1-1 but former-Flyer Jaromir Jagr scored the game-winner in the third period to make it 2-1 Devils. More here.
The Eagles announced yesterday they have signed safety Malcolm Jenkins to a three-year deal. Multiple reports state the deal is worth $16.25 million with $8.5 million guaranteed. Jenkins spent his first five years in the league with the New Orleans Saints. More here.
The Eagles announced Tuesday they re-signed punter Donnie Jones to a three-year deal worth up to $6 million according to reports. They had been talking to him over the last few days about an extension but could not sign him to a long-term deal until after 4:00 pm today. More here.
