The Phillies sent Jonathan Pettibone to the mound last night looking to get revenge on the Indians after their manhandling of the Phillies two weeks ago in Cleveland. Pettibone was brilliant as he went 6.2 innings allowing just two runs on four hits despite being pulled in the seventh inning with no runners on and throwing just 92 pitches. Kevin Frandsen's solo home run in the first got the Phillies on the board but the Indians would take a 2-1 lead in the top of the seventh then it was all Phillies led by John Mayberry Jr.'s two-run double in the fourth. Mayberry had three hits and three RBI to power the Phillies to a 6-2 victory. More here.
