The Sixers announced Monday Julius "Dr. J" Erving will represent the team at tomorrow night's NBA Draft Lottery. The Eagles announced on Monday they have re-signed wide receiver Arrelious Benn less than a week after cutting him and saving $1 million in cap space. Benn, 26, suffered a torn ACL while serving as a blocker in a kickoff drill early in training camp last August. The 6'2" 220 lbs. wide-out, who was acquired with a seventh round pick in March 2013. Phillies have re-signed relief pitcher Shawn Camp to a minor-league contract. Camp was outrighted by the Phillies last week and elected to take his chances in free agency. He was originally signed a minor-league contract with the Phillies in November after spending the last two seasons with the Chicago Cubs. More here.
Eagles announced Monday they signed fourth round pick Jaylen Watkins and fifth round pick Taylor Hart to their rookie contracts. Watkins and Hart are the third and fourth Eagles draft picks to sign their contracts joining wide receiver Josh Huff and defensive tackle Beau Allen. The only remaining unsigned picks are first round pick Marcus Smith, second round pick Jordan Matthews and fifth round pick Ed Reynolds. More here.
