The Phillies wrapped up their three game series against the Marlins last night with Cliff Lee taking the mound. Lee was spectacular allowing just three hits over nine shutout innings while striking out five Marlins for his 12th career shutout. For the second consecutive night, Delmon Young got the Phillies on the board in the fourth inning with a solo homerun to almost the same spot in left-centerfield. Dom Brown would triple in a run in the sixth and Galvis would drive Brown home for a 3-0 lead. That is all Lee would need as the Phillies cruised to the 3-0 win and the series win as they head to Washington for a weekend set with the Nationals. More here.

The Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat kicked off Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals in dramatic fashion. With the Pacers trailing by three points with under five seconds to go, the NBA"s Most Improved Player, Paul George, stepped up and hit a deep three-pointer with 0.7 seconds left to tie the game and send it to overtime. In overtime, with the Pacers trailing by two, George had a good look at a three but was fouled by Dwyane Wade. George hit all three free throws with 2.2 seconds left to give Indiana a 102-101 lead. Miami called timeout and got the ball to LeBron James who beat George to the bucket to hit a layup as time expired to give Miami the 103-102 victory. More here.
