- The Flyers inducted Eric Lindros and John LeClair into the team Hall of Fame last night prior to taking on the Wild. After a scoreless first period, Minnesota jumped on the board in the second period before Mark Streit tied the game. The Wild scored early in the third but Claude Giroux answered late to tie the game with less than four minutes left but the Wild netted the game-winner with 45.4 seconds left to win 3-2. More here.
- The Flyers announced defenseman Andrew MacDonald would return to the Flyers lineup on Thursday night and he replaced Michael Del Zotto who suffered a lower-body injury against the New York Rangers on Wednesday night. More here.
- MLB.com's Paul Hagen reports the Phillies have "cooled on the idea" of signing Cuban slugger Yasmany Tomas because of concerns about his defense. CSN Philly's Jim Salisbury reports the Phillies are still interested in signing Tomas but the price must drop. More here.
