The Eagles were looking to snap their two-game skid yesterday in Oakland and Nick Foles put the team on his back. Foles completed the game with 22 completions on 28 attempts for 406 yards and a franchise/NFL-record seven touchdowns. He finished the game with more touchdowns than incompletions. He threw his seven touchdowns despite having the ball for only 15:56 and finished the game with a perfect passer rating of 158.3. The Eagles cruised to a 49-20 victory. More here.
The Flyers announced yesterday that Steve Downie was released from an area hospital and "doing well" after spending two nights there with a concussion. Downie suffered the concussion in a fight with Capitals winger Aaron Volpatti in the third period of Friday night's 7-0 loss. More here.
Texans head coach Gary Kubiak collapsed while leaving the field at halftime of the Texans game against the Colts last night on Sunday Night Football. Kubiak reportedly never lost consciousness as he was taken off the field on a stretcher and was taken to an area hospital as a precaution. Houston ended up blowing a 21-3 halftime lead and losing 27-24 to the Colts. More here.

The Redskins took on the Chargers yesterday at FedEx Field. Washington RB Alfred Morris rushed 25 times for 121 yards and the defense came up with a huge goal-line stand at the end of regulation which forced a San Diego field goal. Washington wound up winning 30-24 in overtime to improve to 3-5. More here.
The Cowboys faced the lowly Vikings yesterday at AT&T Stadium. Adrian Peterson rushed 25 times for 140 yards for Minnesota to give them a 23-20 lead late in the game but Tony Romo led the Cowboys down the field for a touchdown with 35 seconds remaining to win 27-23. More here.
