Eagles head coach Chip Kelly announced Monday that Foles suffered a concussion on the play and will now follow NFL league protocol on head injuries. Foles was 11-for-29 (37.9%) for 80 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions against the Cowboys. More here.
Legendary Titans owner Bud Adams passed away yesterday at his home in Houston at the age of 90. He was the longest tenured owner having owned the Oilers/Titans since 1959. Adams was an owner in the American Football League and led the fight which helped lead to the merger with the NFL. More here.
The Detroit Tigers are fresh off of their ALCS loss to the Boston Red Sox but have big shoes to fill as manager Jim Leyland announced that he will be stepping down as manager of the Tigers. He plans to remain with the team in some capacity but not as manager. He won three AL Central Division titles and two American League pennants in eight seasons as manager. More here.
