Eagles defensive lineman Fletcher Cox received impermissible benefits while playing at Mississippi State. He reportedly received round-trip plane tickets and checked baggage thanks to NFL agents and financial advisers. Cox was named along with four other SEC players in the report. More here.
Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was fined $100,000 by the NFL for his chop block against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Detroit's former first-round pick is appealing the fine claiming it is excessive as it is the largest fine every given by the NFL that did not include a suspension. More here.
