- The Eagles headed west to take on the 49ers yesterday. The defense and special teams showed up putting up 21 first-half points to give the Eagles an 11-point lead but the 49ers came back outscoring the Eagles 13-0 in the second half en route to a 26-21 win. More here.
- The Phillies wrapped up their season yesterday at Citizens Bank Park against the Braves. Cole Hamels was looking for his 10th win and threw eight strong innings and recorded two hits at the plate. The offense couldn't muster anything as the Phillies lost 2-1. More here.
- The fire alarm in the Eagles' team hotel in San Francisco went off at 2:00 am local time, just hours before the Eagles were slated to play the 49ers. More here.
