One player that seemed to be on-the-fence about whether or not he would be back with the club is forward Dorell Wright. Wright, 27, averaged 9.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in 79 games last season with the Sixers.
Y! Sports reports that the Oklahoma City Thunder are aggressively pursuing Wright to replace sharp-shooter Kevin Martin. Martin was acquired in the deal that sent James Harden to Houston. Harden was too expensive for the Thunder and it sounds like Martin might have priced him out of Oklahoma City's range.
No free-agent agreement can become official until July 10th.
