You may remember two weeks ago when they welcomed Chip Kelly to Philadelphia following his first NFL win. Now they are congratulating a former Eagle on a day in which the team will honor him.
Donovan McNabb will get his time in the spotlight during halftime of tonight's Eagles - Chiefs game at Lincoln Financial Field but it begins a little earlier thanks to the "With Love, Philadelphia" campaign.
McNabb, 36, played 11 seasons for the Eagles leading them to a 91-62-1 record that also includes nine playoff wins. He threw for 32,873 yards with 216 touchdowns and exactly 100 interceptions while completing 59% of his passes. His 32,873 yards, 216 touchdowns, 2,801 completions, and 4,746 attempts are all franchise records while his 3,469 rushing yards are sixth-best in NFL history for a quarterback.
