Iowa has been struggling all season to find a style of play that works for them, and Michigan State needs to really step up their game if they want to get back on track to competing for a B1G division or conference title. MSU at home, coming off a close win against Indiana will need to set the tone early with their run game and tough defense. Look for a one score game late in the game with Michigan State pulling away.
Sticking with the B1G here, this line really confuses me. Purdue coming off a big loss to #25 Michigan was really exposed and showed the rest of the conference what could beat them. Purdue is putting up big numbers on offense with 36.6 ppg, but Wisconsin, even during an "off" year still is showing to have one of the toughest defenses in the B1G. Wisconsin shows their tough defense early, not letting Purdue QB Caleb Terbush get confortable, and pulls out the win.
I guess this game is being shown close because although Geno Smith and WVU put up huge offensive numbers, their defense also gives up 50+ ppg. Texas Tech on the other handd has only given up 6 plays of 20+. If Texas Tech can keep WVU's big plays limited they pull out the win. Take 'em: Texas Tech with the upset.
USC has to get back on track if they want to get in contention for the National Championship. Washington upset the same Stanford team that beat USC earlier in the year. USC gets both offense and defense back on track in a road rout of a conference foe. USC by 17.
This is going to sound cliche, but for Pitt to win, QB Tino Sunseri needs to throw the ball, and throw it a lot. Pitt will really need to rely on their passing attack to keep this game close. If Pitt can keep up ther previous weeks improvement, they got a chance here. I'll take them. Pitt by 4
