Now if you're a sports fan, you watch ESPN. If you're a sports fan who is on twitter, there is a good chance that you follow ESPN. If you do, you've seen at least one of their 50K plus tweets. Most are RT's of various ESPN platforms but most are original stuff out of the minds of the social networking team that runs @espn. An article earlier this year from BuzzFeed highlighted just how easy it is for someone to run the @espn twitter account. It's extremely lazy social media. When your twitter account has the prose and writing of a teenage girl, then maybe you should look at your main demographic once more. Now not all of ESPN's tweets are like this. But there are certainly more than their should be. They do an excellent job of alerting followers of a great game that is currently going on, but sometimes, okay most of the time, they present it terribly. See Below....
